Regular maintenance is the sensible option if you'd rather not think about the garden. The same jobs get done on a rhythm, so nothing gets out of hand.
What a visit usually covers
- Mowing, edging and line trimming
- Hedge and shrub trimming as needed
- Weeding the beds, topping up mulch from time to time
- Clearing paths and sweeping up
- Taking away the green waste
The mix changes with the season and the garden. In a quiet winter, it might be a quick mow and tidy. In a hot, wet summer, it's the whole list.
How often
Most people choose fortnightly in the warm months and monthly in the cooler ones. A large or fast-growing garden might need more. A small, low-maintenance yard might need less. See the mowing frequency guide for how growth changes through the year.
Starting out
If the garden is overgrown, the first visit is a bigger tidy-up, and it takes longer. After that, visits are shorter and cheaper because nothing's built up. Read one-off or regular to decide which suits you.
Away, or want to change things
Going on holiday? Tell us and we'll skip or reschedule. Want less hedge trimming and more weeding? Say so. A schedule is a starting point and it can change. If the property is a holiday home, see holiday home maintenance.
Ring 02 6626 3819 or email sales@lincolnchen.net with your suburb, a photo and how often you'd like visits.
What to send
Photos of the lawn, hedges and beds, a rough size, and how often you'd like visits. If you have a preference on clippings, mulch or how formal the garden should look, say so.
