Cabarita Beach and Bogangar are right on the coast, and the outdoor areas of the homes there take the brunt.
Decks, paths and outdoor living
Coastal living means decks, patios, pavers and outdoor furniture. Sand, salt and damp wear them down, and a regular clean makes a big difference. See driveway and deck cleaning and pressure cleaning.
Fixings and hardware
Within sight of the beach, rust is a fact of life. Choosing stainless or galvanised fixings, and rinsing metal now and then, pays off. See salt air and coastal homes.
Gardens
Sandy soil dries out fast. Mulch, the right plants and a working irrigation system help. See watering lawns and gardens and reticulation checks.

Pressure cleaning near the beach
Sand blows onto decks and paths, salt dries on surfaces, and shaded corners still grow mould. A yearly clean usually does the job. We match the pressure to the surface, whether it's timber, composite, concrete or pavers. Timber needs more care than concrete.
Sealing afterwards
If you plan to oil or seal a deck after cleaning, let us know so the visit can be timed with a few dry days. Sealing damp timber is a common reason finishes fail.
