Driveways and decks are what visitors see first and what people slip on in the wet. They're also the two surfaces that need different handling.
Driveways and paths
Concrete, pavers and exposed aggregate handle strong pressure well, though pavers need care so the joint sand isn't blasted out. Oil stains and rust marks are harder, and results vary, so we'll be upfront about what may not fully come out.
Decks and patios
Timber and composite decking need gentler pressure and the right technique. Too much and timber looks furry or gets scored. Let the deck dry afterwards before anyone oils or seals it.
Prep
Move furniture and pots if you can. Tell us if there's no outside tap. Sensitive plants near the area are worth a mention.
The wider list is on pressure cleaning, and why it all turns green is covered in mould on decks and fences.
